Welcome Volunteer Position
We are looking for a friendly and reliable Welcome Volunteer to join our team at Tara Institute.
Position Details:
🕚 Time: 11:00am – 2:00pm
⏳ Duration: 3 hours
📍 Location: Tara Institute
Role Responsibilities:
Warmly greeting visitors as they arrive
Answering phone inquiries
Showing guests around the centre, including the bookshop and gompa (meditation hall)
Creating a welcoming and peaceful first impression
This role is perfect for someone who enjoys meeting people, has good communication skills, and would like to support a vibrant spiritual community.

Volunteer Book & Gift Shop Manager
Love books, beautiful gifts, and community spirit? Tara Institute, a Tibetan Buddhist Centre in Brighton and part of the FPMT network, is looking for a warm and organised volunteer to manage our not-for-profit shop.
