HOUSE BLESSING CEREMONY

We warmly invite you to experience a traditional house blessing, a sacred and meaningful
ritual led by 2–3 Geshes from Tara institute (Tibetan Buddhist monks).
This ceremony brings spiritual clarity, harmony, and peace into your home — helping to
remove obstacles and support the well-being of all who live there, both physically and
mentally.

What You’ll Need to Prepare
Before the puja, please kindly prepare the following traditional offerings:

  • Fresh fruits

  • Snacks or biscuits

  • Flowers

  • Light (e.g., candles or butter lamps)

  • Incense

  • Rice (for symbolic sprinkling)

These offerings help create an auspicious and respectful environment for the ceremony.

What to Expect
Duration: The puja typically lasts about one hour.
Hospitality: A full meal isn’t needed, but a warm cup of tea for the Geshes is greatly appreciated.
Transport: Please kindly arrange for transportation to bring the Geshes to your home, and remember we need you to provide your address.

Offering of Generosity
While there is no fixed fee, a suggested donation is appreciated, to find out more please email TI . Your generous offering will go towards the supporting the daily needs of our monastic community at Tara Institute.

If you wish, you may also make separate offerings directly to Tara Institute and the Geshes.

This is a beautiful opportunity to bring blessings, protection, and peace into your home — while also contributing to the flourishing of the Dharma and the well-being of the monks who serve it.
