Learn More on What’s & How to do Guru Puja Practice, Mandala, Mudras, Altar Setup,
Prayers and Benefits

Sunday October 20th 2024 - 9:00am - 5:00pm

Venerable Geshe Lobsang Dorjee has kindly agreed to continue from the July course on Benefits of Guru Yoga practice. Those who are interested to find out more are also welcome to register.

As His Holiness the Dalai Lama has always mentioned in his teachings, for us ordinary people, we need to accumulate merits and purification practices as we progress along, to deepen our spiritual path.

It is said that relying on Guru is the root of the path, hence Guru puja practice is important  and TI conducts this puja every month.  Lama Tsong Khapa completed over 3 million mandala offerings and Dipamkara Jowo Atisha did every day to continue to accumulate merits; whilst mudras, altar setup and prayers are part of the accompaniment of the practice.

In this one day course,we will learn more about the Benefits, and How to do, starting from Guru Puja practice (TI’s monthly puja), mandala offerings, mudras (hand gesture), altar setup and prayers to accumulate merits and purification.

Please bring along your implements (dorje and bell, mandala set)  if you have them.

Lunch is included in the cost.
