Message from Damien Busby (Centre Director) and Amelia Kelsang (Spiritual Program Coordinator)
Due to the Victorian Government restrictions on indoor gatherings, the Tara Institute Public events program is suspended for the time being. For reasons of auspiciousness, the program is still shown here.
We are very sorry for this situation as we know how important the teaching program is to so many people.
The meal service is also suspended and any casual visits to the centre are requested to be curtailed. As this issue for the whole community continues, we hope that the program can be reactivated as soon as possible. As soon as the current conditions subside, the centre will re-open and the teaching programs will resume.
In the meantime we wish you all to remain well and happy. As Lama Zopa Rinpoche said to a nervous student in the middle of the Nepal earthquake ‘Now is the time to practice Dharma’.
There are many teachings from the Tara Institute program available on our YouTube channel.
